Grain Processing Corporation (Muscatine, IA; GPC) launched Fybrin RS resistant starch, a corn-based resistant starch that is an inherently gluten-free dietary fiber ingredient with minimal calories. The new ingredient can boost nutritional value by upping fiber content, making it a great ingredient for pasta, baked goods, tortillas, pizza crust, beverages and bars. It has a bland flavor, lowwater-holding capacity, and smooth mouthfeel.
