Fortitech Announces Plans to Expand South America Facility

Nutrient premix specialist Fortitech announced plans to double the size of its facility in Campinas, Brazil, taking the facility to 65,000 sq ft. The expansion is planned to be complete late next year.

Nutrient premix specialist Fortitech announced plans to double the size of its facility in Campinas, Brazil, taking the facility to 65,000 sq ft. The expansion is planned to be complete late next year.

The company says that in particular, the expansion will enhance its ability to provide finished packaging for powdered products. Packaging types include sachets, cans, boxes, and pouches, for the South American market.

“Consumer demand for fortified foods, beverages, and pharmaceuticals in the South American marketplace is on the rise,” said Fortitech South America’s general director Juarez A. Fairon Rech, in a press release.

The company says that, once completed, the new facility will be its third largest worldwide.
