The name change is just one announcement from the changing company.
EPAX AS (Aalesund, Norway) has been renamed Epax Norway AS, the company announced last week. The global supplier of omega-3 docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) oils has seen several changes over the last several months, but it insists that its industry commitment will remain the same.
EPAX introduced a new CEO in Terje Bakken this July and now holds a resource center in Hoydebygda, Norway and a recently acquired manufacturing plant in Seals Sands, United Kingdom.
EPAX was acquired by Trygg Pharma, a joint venture of Aker Biomarine (Oslo, Norway) and Lindsay Goldberg (Manhattan, NY) in late 2010.
