EFSA (Parma, Italy) has published the names of 167 new scientists who will serve on the EU agency’s scientific committees and panels for at least the next three years.
The newly appointed members were recruited from universities (41%), public research institutes (39%), and government bodies (15%). The remaining 5% were retired from such institutions.
EFSA has made available the names of all its new scientists, including new NDA Panel members, who will oversee issues relating to dietetics, nutrition, and food allergies. Per new regulations, declarations of interest are provided with each name.
