The HDPE conveyors are reconfigurable for maximum run flexibility.
Dynamic Conveyor (Muskegon, MI) will demonstrate its DynaClean line of easy-to-clean food processing conveyors at Process Expo in November. DynaClean conveyors feature a versatile, patent pending design that facilitates short cleaning down times. Energy efficient, maintenance-free motors also enable quick conveyor reconfigurations without the need for hand tools, which helps cut down on cross contamination during line changeovers.
The conveyors are primarily comprised of durable, blue high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which is not only corrosion-resistant, but also non-toxic, temperature and odor resistant, and more cost-effective than traditional stainless steel (though the hermetically sealed motor is easy to clean stainless steel). The simplistic design is also free of mechanical belt tensioners and external bearings, and does not require lubrication. In addition, formulators can also choose between ThermoDrive solid belting or modular plastic link style belting, depending on the types of food the unit will convey.
