DSM (Parsippany, NJ) has formally launched its Fortitech Premixes brand following the company’s acquisition of premix specialist Fortitech (Schenectady, NY) in 2012. The new Fortitech Premix brand will focus on custom nutrient premix services.
Fortitech Premixes will operate from DSM’s 12 premix facilities, five innovation centers, and 40 sales offices worldwide. Fortitech Premixes is now represented by a new logo and the tagline “Strategic Nutrition.” The brand offers an extensive range of nutrients as well as flavors, sweeteners, colors, and stabilizers.
Premixes offer companies ready-to-go and tested nutrient formulations that enable labor and cost savings. Fortitech Premixes can include functional ingredients, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, nucleotides, and nutraceuticals, for diverse products such as baby formulas, cereals, bars, dairy products, nutrition and sports drinks, juices, snacks, waters, candies, and supplements.
