Diabetes-Friendly Nutrition Bar Sees First Retail Orders
The bar is designed to help consumers minimize blood sugar spikes, aiding glucose management and weight management.
InBar, a nutrition bar formulated especially suited for sufferers of type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes, has received its first retail orders. Those ordering include Belmark Inc., Cambridge Naturals, Health Store & More, Healthy Alternatives, Lifestyle Wellness & Spa, and Organic Food Depot.
The bar is designed to help consumers minimize blood sugar spikes, aiding glucose management and weight management. The bar made its debut at the Natural Products Expo East trade show in September. It is available in four flavors: strawberry banana, chocolate mint, chocolate fudge, and chocolate cherry.
“We are thrilled that word has spread so quickly about the InBar,” says InBalance’s chief science officer Don VerHulst, MD.
In addition to the InBar, by the end of the year InBalance plans to introduce a line of dietary supplements that support blood glucose and weight management, as well as circulation and eye and nerve function. These supplements will utilize the MoruCel brand of mulberry leaf extract to help stabilize postprandial blood sugar levels and limit blood sugar spikes by inhibiting the absorption of sugars and carbohydrates.
