CRN Raises $5K for Vitamin Angels through March Facebook Promotion

During a March Facebook promotion of its Life…supplemented campaign, the Council for Responsible (CRN; Washington, DC) raised $5,000 for international charity Vitamin Angels.

During the month-long promotion in March, Facebook participants were asked to answer a daily question about their personal health and wellness and to post responses to the Life…supplemented Facebook page. For each response, CRN donated $5 to Vitamin Angels. Notably, during the promotion, the Life…supplemented community almost doubled, to 4,000 members. So far in 2011, CRN has donated $20,000 to Vitamin Angels.

Life…supplemented is a consumer wellness campaign dedicated to driving awareness about the mainstream use of dietary supplements as an integral part of a proactive personal wellness regimen that combines healthy diet, supplements, and exercise.
