Color of the Week: 4th of July

Article

Vibrant colors for the 4th of July are possible with natural reds and blues.

As families and friends prepare for July 4th, manufacturers can take notice of the opportunity for seasonal, red-and-blue themed food, beverage, and confectionery products. The colors of the U.S. flag are possible with natural food sources, and the licorice candies shown above are proof. The blue is mostly sourced from spirulina, and the red is a mix of fruit and vegetables, including carrots and berries.
