ChromaDex Corp. (Los Angeles, CA) earned ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation for testing of the its Tru Niagen consumer products, Niagen ingredient, and phytochemical reference standards performed out of its Longmont, CO quality control and R&D facility.
“This latest accreditation recognizes ChromaDex’s consistency in meeting the highest international standards in quality control,” Rob Fried, CEO of ChromaDex, said in a press release. “Our global partners such as Nestlé have learned to expect these designations along with world-class clinical data.”
The accreditation validates the technical proficiency of its laboratory and its ability to generate accurate product data that is traceable and compliant with international standards.
“The quality and reliability of our products is affirmed through this process,” said Andrew Shao, PhD, ChromaDex senior vice president of global scientific and regulatory affairs, in a press release. “This accreditation helps provide health regulators with confidence in the quality and science behind our products in markets across the globe.”
