Blommer Chocolate Commits to Sustainable Palm Oil Plan

Certified products to be available this fall.
Fresh from receiving newly minted certification from the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), Blommer Chocolate Co. (Chicago, IL), has announced its commitment to be among the first cocoa producers to offer 100% RSPO-certified, mass balance palm oil in the U.S.
The company’s efforts to achieve traceable palm oil supplies while observing environmentally sustainable and socially responsible sourcing practices mirror its current cocoa supply chain efforts. This new commitment is an extension of its global Sustainable Origins initiative, which impacts over 60,000 cocoa farmers worldwide.
The products certified by this new commitment will be available this fall.
