The company says this level of aloin is 2000 times lower than that required for certification by the International Aloe Science Council.
Aloe vera specialist Aloecorp Inc. (Lacey, WA) says it has developed advanced filtration technology that removes aloe compound aloin to below 1 ppm (5 parts per billion as a single-strenth juice). The company says this level of aloin is 2000 times lower than that required for certification by the International Aloe Science Council.
The company says this new quality standard makes its trademarked Aloe vera Gel Qmatrix 200X powder of highest quality. The company adds that it is the only Aloe vera supplier to offer a self-affirmed GRAS Aloe vera ingredient.
Calling the new filtration technology “a significant [advancement] in product purity,” Ken Jones, vice president and chief science officer, also stated: “No other Aloe vera ingredient supplier has performed the extensive safety and efficacy testing that Aloecorp has.”
