The allergen-free, quad-coated probiotics were created by Ildong Bioscience and are distributed by Nutralliance.
Ingredients provider Nutralliance (Yorba Linda, CA) is now supplying patented, quadruple-coated probiotic strains from Ildong Bioscience (Korea) that are allergen free for the clean-label market.
“We can now help our customers to proudly add the allergen-free declaration by incorporating our quad-coated probiotic line,” said AnaMaria Cuentas, director of probiotics, Nutralliance, in a press release.
The quad coating ensures that live probiotic strains, available in high-potency, multi-species blends, can survive challenging environments and expanded applications.
According to the companies, “Full genome sequencing has determined that each strain contains no plasmids, antibiotic-resistant, or deleterious genes.” All probiotic strains from Ildong Bioscience are also certified Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS), kosher, and halal.
