L-carnitine, which plays a critical role in fat and energy metabolism, helps transport long-chain fatty acids into the cells’ mitochondria, where they are broken down to generate energy. Carnipure has shown benefits for many health areas, including exercise, weight management, and healthy aging. Under the Carnipure brand, Lonza supplies Carnipure crystalline, a pure L-carnitine; as well as Carnipure tartrate, a non-hygroscopic form of L-carnitine plus tartaric acid.
