Symrise has introduced a new veggie line to provide seasonal cosmetic benefits.
Symrise AG (Holzminden, Germany) is now premiering Actipone Superveggies, a line of vegetable ingredients intended for seasonal cosmetic needs.
The ingredients fall under Symrise’s Actipone botanicals line.
The Superveggies line features seven liquid and water-soluble ingredients, including asparagus, broccoli, spinach, zucchini, artichoke, beet root, and winter pumpkin. They are suitable for applications such as shower gels, shampoos, and face creams.
“We have linked the Superveggies to the four seasons to demonstrate their versatile uses and the many potential applications they have,” said Diane Lanfranchi of Symrise’s botanical global product management team. “Asparagus and spinach reflect the regenerative and cleansing nature of the spring, while zucchini and artichoke are perfect for summer products that refresh and firm the skin. In the fall, our need for strengthening and fortifying is met by broccoli and beet root. And in winter pumpkin is ideal for rich and comforting care products.”
Superveggies formulations can be enhanced with the company’s natural fragrance line.
