According to botanical extracts specialist Bio-Botanica Inc. (Hauppauge, NY), approximately two-thirds of women will experience undesirable menopause-related symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, and loss of libido. Based on the botanical Pueraria candollei var. mirifica (pictured), Puresterol is a patented ingredient that the company says has shown to be a promising hormone and herbal support for menopausal women. The company says the extract was used in a recent research study and that the role of phytoestrogens in women’s health, particularly breast health, has been the subject of interest for several years.
