As part of its global expansion, Sabinsa (East Windsor, NJ) has opened a warehousing, sales, and distribution office in LuboÅ, Poland, a town located in the PoznaÅ metro area, between Warsaw and Berlin, Germany. Tomasz Majewski has joined the company as country head of Poland and Eastern Europe, supervising and setting directions for sales, marketing, logistics, administration, accounting, and finance. Majewski has experience creating and leading teams in the pharmaceutical and FMCG markets with such companies as Johnson & Johnson, Wrigley, and Gerber.
Additional staff includes Marcin Rutkowski as sales director, Karol Torz as warehouse and logistics manager, and Dagmara Krupniewska handling administration and customer service. Daily reporting structure will be to R. Umar Jan, PhD, MBA, resident director and prokurist of Sabinsa Europe, and director of Sabinsa Poland. Functional reporting will be to Madhu Subramanian, president, global business expansion and operations, and director of Sabinsa Poland, and Shaheen Majeed, president, worldwide, and director of Sabinsa Poland.
FDA revokes authorization to use Red No. 3 as a color additive in food or drugs
