Bioriginal will distribute the Rimfrost Krill Collection in Canada, the United States, and Europe.

New omega-3 krill ingredients brand Rimfrost (Fosnavåg, Norway) has reached a distribution deal with essential fatty acids producer and distributor Bioriginal Food & Science Corp. (Saskatoon, Canada). Per the deal, Bioriginal will distribute the Rimfrost Krill Collection, which comprises Antarctic krill powder, krill meal, and krill oil, in Canada, the United States, and Europe.

The Rimfrost krill brand was established this October by Norway-based krill harvester Olympic Seafood AS and Avoca Inc. (Merry Hill, NC), a Pharmachem company and a krill oil extraction specialist.

“Bioriginal is an expert in providing essential fatty acid solutions, so it is a natural fit for the Rimfrost Krill Collection,” says Even Remøy, marketing and sales manager for Olympic Seafood. Bioriginal offers omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9 products from both plant and marine sources, in various delivery forms, and has MP production facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia. “Bioriginal can provide customers with value-added solutions like soft gels and emulsions, in addition to bulk oil,” Remøy says.
