ADA Cosmetics International (Kehl, Germany), which has successfully installed its Green Culture line of EU Ecolabel-certified natural amenities in European hotels, has expanded its range of formulas.

“The trend toward natural cosmetics is as strong as ever and has also extended to hotel bathrooms,” the company says. “The consistently favorable response to Green Culture-until now only available in the practical press+wash dispenser system-prompted [us] to introduce a larger selection of the line.”

The brand, which was introduced just two years ago, has been renamed Eco by Green Culture and includes shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion that are now also available in 42-ml bottles made from recycled PET, in addition to the press+wash versions.

The company says it is the first German cosmetics company to bear the EU Ecolabel. The line uses raw materials based on renewable plant materials and minimal preservatives. Cleaning agents are almost entirely biodegradable, with a mere 0.3% counting as low-biodegradable ingredients. Instead of artificial colors, the line employs “well-tolerated food colors.” Silicone oils, paraffin, and other “questionable” additives are omitted.

The company also offers eco-friendly accessories such as shower caps, a vanity set, a sewing kit, and emery board, packaged and produced as sustainably as possible with as many natural materials as possible.
