NP Nutra’s Super ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) line now includes high-ORAC grape seed that contains more than 14,000 umole TE/g. The company says that grape seed is an excellent source of antioxidants such as oligomeric proanthocyanidins, vitamin E, flavonoids, linoleic acid, and resveratrol. Its health benefits include strengthening blood vessels and supporting the cardiovascular system. The company says that studies have shown that grape seed antioxidants can also cross the blood-brain barrier to help protect cognitive health. The supplier’s other grape extracts include Grape Seed P.E. 95% Proanthocyanidins.
