FrieslandCampina touts high-potency Biotis GOS-OP High Purity prebiotic at SupplySide West

FrieslandCampina Ingredients (The Netherlands) will highlight its new Biotis GOS-OP High Purity prebiotic at the SupplySide West trade show, taking place October 31 to November 4, 2022, in Las Vegas (Booth #2021). The ingredient delivers a higher concentration of galactooligosaccharides (GOS) prebiotic compared to others on the market, the company says.

FrieslandCampina developed Biotis GOS-OP High Purity to help manufacturers overcome challenges with formulating prebiotic supplements, the company says, enabling a smaller yet effective dose of prebiotics in tablets, capsules, and gummies.

“Developed using a patent-pending process, the ingredient delivers a higher concentration of available GOS—typically around 94%—significantly higher than other prebiotics available on the market. Research has also substantiated the efficacy of Biotis GOS-OP High Purity at doses as low as 2 g,” the firm says.

Also at the show, the company will discuss its range of Plantaris plant-based protein powder, including Plantaris Pea Isolate 85A and Plantaris Faba Isolate 90A. It will also showcase its Nutri Whey Isolate Clear ingredient.
