Gencor Nutrients is pleased to report on results of a recent human clinical on its fenugreek extract (Libifem) and female libido. Australian researchers assigned 80 healthy menstruating women to Libifem or placebo and reported enhanced libido, sexual vitality, and desire in the fenugreek group.
The company says that sexual function was measured using the female index of the Derogatis Interview for Sexual Functioning (DIS-SR). Improvements in sexual cognition, arousal, experience, orgasm, and drive were some of the beneficial changes observed with fenugreek consumption.
