Consumer advocate group US Drug Watchdog says it is launching a campaign to find consumers who have been “fleeced by ineffective diet pills or dietary supplements frequently advertised on cable TV.”
According to the group in a press release, “We believe our cable TV diet pill or dietary supplement initiatives will turn out to be one of our most important initiatives ever. We intend to put a stop to this nonsense.”
