Taiyo’s Green Tea Facility Gets FSSC 22000 Certification

Taiyo says its green tea extracts are extracted through a water infusion process and are decaffeinated using only FDA-approved, food-grade ethyl acetate.

A Jiangsu, China, manufacturing facility where ingredients supplier Taiyo produces its Sunphenon green tea extracts has received food-safety certification. Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
