Bioligo GL 5700 IMF remains stable during high-temperature processing and low-pH applications.
Bioligo GL 5700 IMF is a new, branded galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) prebiotic fiber from Ingredion (Westchester, IL) suited for infant formula, functional foods and beverages, and dietary supplements.
According to Ingredion, “Galacto-oligosaccharides are some of the most studied oligosaccharides in the world and provide numerous digestive and immune health benefits.”
The ingredient is made from food-grade lactose and is supplied in syrup form comprising a minimum of 57% GOS on a dry basis. Ingredion says Bioligo GL 5700 IMF remains stable during high-temperature processing and low-pH applications, suitable for a wide range of product types, including shelf-stable drinks, juices, nutritional bars, and dietary supplements. It also meets required hygiene standards for infant formula.
