Silliker Food Safety Expands to South Africa

Mérieux NutriSciences has acquired majority ownership of Swift Micro Laboratories (Cape Town, South Africa) to expand the global coverage of Silliker, a food safety unit of Mérieux NutriSciences. Swift Micro Laboratories is a product-safety services provider for food, beverage, and cosmetic industries.

The newly named Swift Silliker now includes Silliker business capabilities and is expected to answer the needs of South African customers and a growing African market.
