The SIDI Work Group has made available supplier qualification guidelines for dietary supplement manufacturers.

SIDI (Standardized Information on Dietary Ingredients) is an industry collective of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (Washington, DC), the United Natural Products Alliance (Salt Lake City), the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (Washington, DC), and interested ingredient suppliers and dietary supplement manufacturers.

Intended for small, medium, and large companies, the SIDI guidelines outline the process a dietary supplement manager can use when qualifying any ingredient supplier. The literature serves as a companion piece to earlier SIDI guidelines and the SIDI Protocol and Certificate of Analysis Guideline.

The Work Group is seeking comments from all stakeholders, regulators, and other interested parties no later than June 18.

Complete the free registration process and all SIDI documents will be available free of charge.
