Ingredion’s new thickener solution, Precisa Sperse 100 starch, is a cold-water swelling starch that delivers both superior dispersibility and fast thickening, at the same time, and is geared towards soups, sauces, and other food formats. Additional benefits include a creamy, thick, and smooth home-style texture that is very stable under cold storage or steam table conditions. It is also suited for products prepared with minimal agitation, and provides excellent resistance to harsh preparation methods, including intense heating (microwaving), high shear (milling) or low pH.
