Reza Kamarei, PhD, MS, has joined Sabinsa Corp. (East Windsor, NJ) as vice president of science and technology. Kamarei received his MS and PhD in food science and technology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and is the inventor and co-inventor of more than 20 patents, as well as an author of numerous peer-reviewed papers.
He has worked for companies such as Clintec Nutrition, a joint venture between Nestle and Baxter; and National Starch Food innovation. He also served as senior manager, nutritional juices and product and ingredient sciences, for Coca-Cola North America, where he helped to develop the company’s award-winning neutralized fruit juice technology.
