Sabinsa Patents Weight-Management Formula

The formulation patent covers the use of standard ingredients as well as Sabinsa’s own branded ingredients.

Sabinsa (East Windsor, NJ) has received a U.S. patent (#8,329,743) for a weight-management formula combining polyisoprenylated benzophenones, stilbenes, and anthocyanins.

The patent covers any formula using standard versions of these ingredients, as well as formulas using Sabinsa’s own branded ingredients such as GarCitrin Garcinia cambogia, and stilbene polyphenols such as those from the company’s Silbinol natural trans-pterostilbene.

This is the company’s 76th patent.
