Renhuang Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Harbin, China) says that China’s State Food & Drug Administration has asked the company to help establish standards for the production of Siberian ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus) tablets in China.
Renhuang is a supplier of Chinese medicinal botanical products, including Siberian ginseng. The company says that through an agreement with Dongfanghong Forestry Bureau, it controls 70% of the natural supply of Siberian ginseng in China.
The guidelines that Renhuang will develop will apply to all Chinese producers of Siberian ginseng medicinal products.
