Press release: D.D. Williamson
LOUISVILLE, KY, USA --(March 27, 2012) – Determining the best natural coloring choice for food and beverage products is a multi-step process outlined by D.D. Williamson in their latest educational video. Entitled “Natural Food Coloring in Yellow to Orange Range,” the latest edition to DDW’s Natural Coloring Video Series provides an overview of naturally derived food coloring in yellow to orange hues. At just five minutes in length, the informative video highlights natural sources, manufacturing methods, and color science as well as food and beverage applications.
“This video will help food product designers and students of food science understand key factors influencing the selection of yellow to orange coloring for a particular food or beverage,” said Jason Armao, Director of Applications and Innovation.
In response to changing consumer preferences, most companies in Europe -- and some in North America -- have moved away from synthetics to natural color solutions in food and beverage applications.
