Premix Specialist Wright Group Acquires New Blending Facility
The new facility will provide added equipment, such as 300-cu-ft, 80 cu-ft, and 55 cu-ft ribbon blender systems.
Premix supplier The Wright Group (Crowley, LA) has acquired a new blending facility in Plain City, OH. The new facility will provide added equipment, such as 300-cu-ft, 80 cu-ft, and 55 cu-ft ribbon blender systems that connect to a fully automated packaging line, as well as a Bran & Luebbe continuous liquid blending system that attaches to ten (100,000 gal total) jacketed liquid silos, which the company says will allow the blending of micronutrients in a flavored syrup format.
“This new facility will…increase our flexibility and give us new capabilities not now present at our Crowley, LA, site,” said company president and CEO Sam Wright.
In addition to the new facility, the company is also continuing its global expansion, opening offices in Bogota, Colombia, and a quality and procurement office in Shanghai.
