POM Wonderful (Los Angeles) is best known for its manufacture of pomegranate beverages, bars, and dietary supplements, but the company is now entering the ingredient space as a supplier of 100% pomegranate concentrate.
The company’s pomegranate concentrate comes through a vertical supply chain starting at 18,000 acres of company-owned farmland in California. The operation is reportedly the largest for pomegranates in the United States.
Produced without fillers or other added ingredients, POM Wonderful’s concentrate is available as powder or liquid and can be used in foods, beverages, powdered beverages, dietary supplements, and cosmetics. A proprietary technology enables the company to produce pomegranate juice that is especially rich in polyphenols.
