NP Nutra Offers Organic Kale Powder

NP Nutra (Gardena, CA) is adding organic kale powder to its supply of kale powders and extracts. The ingredient is certified organic and GMO-free.

Kale powder comes with high amounts of several nutrients, including vitamins K, A, and C, and calcium, magnesium, manganese, and iron.  The fine green powder is alkaline and rich in sulfur, which the company says helps the body produce detoxification enzymes.

NP Nutra sources its kale powders and extracts from China, where the plants are harvested later in the year to ensure a preferred flavor profile. Kale powder can be incorporated into dietary supplements and functional foods and beverages. The ingredient is also available in a freeze-dried, sprouted version.
