The new supplement is called Anti-Adipocyte Formula with AdipoStat.
InterHealth’s latest weight-management ingredient, Merastin, is a key ingredient in a new dietary supplement by Life Extension targeting fat cell formation and breakdown in combination with a reduced-calorie diet and exercise. The new supplement is called Anti-Adipocyte Formula with AdipoStat.
Merastin is a blend of two proprietary plant extracts, Sphaeranthus indicus flower heads and Garcinia mangostana fruit rind. According to InterHealth, research has shown that Merastin can work in two weeks to significantly reduce body weight as well as hip and waist circumference. The company says that preliminary results from a second clinical study on Merastin shows a significant average weight loss of over 4 lb in two weeks and over 11 lb at eight weeks.
“Based on an exhaustive review of the scientific and clinical studies behind Merastin, the choice for Life Extension was clear,” said Life Extension’s vice president of scientific affairs, Steven V. Joyal, MD.
