Natural Products Foundation Bolsters Legal Advisory Council

The Natural Products Foundation (NPF; Washington DC) has added Jim Prochnow and Justin Prochnow to its NPF Legal Advisory Council.

Jim Prochnow and Justin Prochnow practice food and drug law for Greenberg Traurig LLP (Denver). Their specialties include representing of companies for false and misleading advertising cases, advising safe and aggressive advertising practices, and working with companies to ensure compliance with regulations enforced FDA, FTC, and other agencies.

The NPF Legal Advisory Council is comprised of volunteer attorneys, who supervise the review component of the NPF Truth in Advertising program, which voluntarily reviews products on the market.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to join the NPF Legal Advisory Council and work with fellow members in the continuing effort to promote compliance with the law and regulations governing dietary supplements,” said Justin Prochnow. “We believe that self-regulation of companies is an important step to ensure the long-term success of the dietary supplement industry.”
