The two groups are partnering to form the Natoli Engineering Institute.
Natoli Engineering Company Inc. (St. Charles, MO), a specialist in tablet compression parts and services, is partnering with Long Island University to found a program to advance knowledge of pharmaceutical oral dosage engineering. The Natoli Engineering Institute will find a home on Long Island’s Brooklyn campus. It’s scheduled to open in September 2013.
According to a company press release, “Work will focus on understanding many of the long time problems of sticking and picking associated with the compression of tablets, the development of formulations for new and existing molecules, and the measurements required to ensure proper delivery of formulations to the tablet press and the control of the tablet press.”
