LycoRed Signs with China Distributor

LycoRed (Beer Sheva, Israel), supplier of Lyc-O-Mato lycopene and other ingredients, has signed a distribution deal with China-based Shanghai Lithy Foods Material Company, Ltd.

Shanghai Lithy Foods is a leading distributor of botanical extracts and dietary supplement ingredients. LycoRed says the company has longstanding distribution channels in the China nutraceuticals industry.

LycoRed also recently hosted its first Shanghai seminar on Lyc-O-Mato. Morris Zelkha, the company’s president, says, “Our recent engagements to strengthen LycoRed’s position in Asia, including [LycoRed’s newly approved] premix operation in China, successful participation in VitaFoods Asia, as well as the upcoming technical seminar in October, increase the need to employ extensive distribution services inside the Chinese market.”
