Innophos has acquired the mineral nutrient specialist at a price of $21 million.
Innophos Holdings Inc. (Cranbury, NJ), the parent company of Innophos Inc., has acquired Kelatron Corporation (Ogden, UT) for the purchase price of $21 million.
Innophos is a producer of specialty phosphate products for numerous industries, including food, beverage, and oral care markets. Kelatron is a manufacturer of various mineral nutrients, including micronutrients and macronutrients, including calcium, magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus. The acquisition gives Innophos added strength in the food, beverage, and dietary supplement markets.
