Indena (Milan) has received ISO14001 certification for its production site in Tours, France. The company says the certification guarantees that the plant has an adequate system for controlling-and improving, in the future-its environmental impact.
The company describes some of the moves it has made toward environmental friendliness, under the direction of its Environmental Management Committee, including “optimizing processes” and safeguarding water supplies, reducing air pollution and waste, and recycling and disposing of waste safely.
