Global Stevia Institute Adds Advisory Board

The Global Stevia Institute, created by PureCircle (Oak Brook, IL) and operational since June, has established an advisory board as well as an expert panel comprising nutritionists, medical doctors, and health educators. The institute’s goal is to promote stevia education. It’s headed by executive director Keith-Thomas Ayoob, Ed.D, RD, FADA. “This Institute will play such an important role in educating health professionals, food and beverage manufacturers, public affairs leaders, and, of course, the consumer about the benefits of incorporating a plant-based sweetener like stevia into their diets,” he says.
