The ingredient will be added to gummies, bars, shakes, and other products.
Several products under the Fullbar weight management brand are now reformulated with the ingredient Slendesta, according to Slendesta developer Kemin Health (Des Moines, IA).
Slendesta is a patented potato extract that the Fullbar brand is calling its newest “hunger block.” The ingredient reportedly works by encouraging the release of a “fullness hormone” called cholecytokinin (CKK) into the bloodstream.
The reformulations hit markets last month, including bars, ready-to-drink shakes, chewable gummies, gum, and dietary supplement capsules.
