Eggshell membrane ingredients BiovaFlex, BiovaDerm, and BiovaPlex from Biova LLC (Johnston, IA) are now certified kosher and halal. The ingredients offer benefits for joint, skin, and animal health.

Halal approval comes from the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA), while kosher certification is from Orthodox Union.

Thanks to their water solubility, the ingredients are suited for a range of products, including functional foods, beverages, and lotions.
