Douglas Labs Adds Antioxidant Version of Corvalen D-Ribose Energy, Sports Supplement

Corvalen OPC-a natural D-ribose dietary supplement with added antioxidants-is the latest energy-enhancing supplement in Douglas Laboratories’ Corvalen dietary supplements line for athletes and everyday consumers. Corvalen OPC can help restore energy, support cardiac function, fatigue, and healthy aging, the firm says.
Corvalen OPC combines the benefits of oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs) and D-ribose in a pomegranate beverage. The company says that the formula helps neutralize free radicals and replenish ATP. Its ORAC value is approximately 4,100 umole TE/serving, which the firm says is equal to six or seven full servings of fruits and veggies.
Additionally, supplementing with D-ribose can maintain energy, heart function, and healthy cardiac stroke volume during high-intensity exercise or everyday activities.
Corvalen OPC can serve as a natural alternative to other sugary or caffeinated energy boosters, such as energy drinks, says Tim Monk, senior vice president, sales, and market, Douglas Laboratories.
The Corvalen line also includes CorvalenM with magnesium and Corvalen chewable tablets.
