Decas Earns Cranberry Patent for Controlling Metabolic Syndrome

Decas Botanical Synergies LLC (Carver, MA) has secured a cranberry-based patent, U.S. patent #8,173,178, for controlling metabolic syndrome. The patent is labeled “Compositions and methods for controlled metabolic syndrome using whole fruit-derived cranberry ingredient profile enriched in stress adopted bioactives (SABs).”
