For environmentally conscious consumers, Carrington Co. LLC now sells fully compostable teas. Each of the new organic-certified teas is completely biodegradable, from teabag to tea leaves. The company says its initiative makes for a “first-of-its-kind” tea product with a carbon footprint of zero.
Carrington Organics teas are available in chamomile, soothing, herbal, and green tea lemon varieties. A box of 20 teabags retails for $3.99.
