Arla Packs More Protein in Dairy

The company's new milk proteins can even support previously challenged yogurts.

Arla Foods Ingredients (Viby J, Denmark) has found a way to pack even more protein in dairy products. From smooth dairy drinks to thick and spoonable yogurts, Arla’s new functional milk proteins can increase protein counts to as much as 10% of the product.

Nutrilac Hi-Pro Improvers work in ice creams, dairy drinks, juice and milk blends, and even yogurts. Arla says yogurts used to be nearly impossible to fortify without unwanted dry or grainy sensations. The best part of Arla’s innovation is that it apparently works without creating those negative sensations for taste or texture.
