Albion's Chromium Chelate Gets CAS-Registered

Albion Human Nutrition's (Clearfield, UT) chromium nicotinate glycinate chelate (chromium chelate) has been registered on CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society and an internationally recognized scientific database of chemical substances that scientists and regulatory bodies use when evaluating ingredients for their products. Albion's chromium chelate CAS No. is 1208240-55-4.

Chromium chelate is part of Albion's TRAACS range, many of whose ingredients are also registered on CAS. (TRAACS stands for The Real Amino Acid Chelate System. Products in the TRAACS range reflect Albion's patented testing method of the degree of chelation of a mineral amino acid chelate. Albion says that no other mineral amino acid chelate producers validate their products or publish clinical studies on their chelates.)

Albion's chromium chelate is highly bioavailable and well tolerated, and is a safe form. Chromium is one of the key minerals in fighting insulin resistance seen in type 2 diabetics and those with metabolic syndrome.
