Creatine MagnaPower is a patented technology for chelating creatine with magnesium.
Albion Human Nutrition (Clearfield, UT) has completed self-affirmed GRAS status for Creatine MagnaPower, the company’s patented blend of creatine chelated with magnesium.
Creatine can stimulate the production of ATP-the body’s primary source of energy-and research suggests its potential to improve muscle strength. Magnesium has its own involvement in protein synthesis and energy, and low levels of magnesium have been linked to muscle fatigue.
“Creatine has steadily increased in popularity as a sports supplement and anti-aging treatment for sarcopenia,” says Albion sales director Max Motyka. “Albion discovered and patented the science behind creating a single molecule by combining creatine with a single magnesium atom. This special molecule form, called a chelate, is Creatine MagnaPower and has scientifically proven advantages.”
